This is Sue. Sue joined Gloucestershire Nightstop as a Volunteer Trustee in 2020. Sue is a retired Nurse, who also volunteers giving Covid Vaccines and Boosters, so do keep an eye out for her when you go for your booster!

The Board’s role is to provide oversight and guidance to the running of a charity. Meeting regularly and supporting with decisions on the direction and organisation of the service.

Sue met with Michelle via Zoom to share her experiences of volunteering in the pandemic and learning about her role. If you are thinking about volunteering, you may find her experiences interesting.

Gloucestershire Nightstop strives to develop and improve our services. We are always recruiting new volunteers for hosting, Supported Lodgings and Drivers but right now we are particularly keen to hear from people with experience in Education, Mental Health Services, Housing and those with experience of Homelessness or Lived Experience who would be interested in joining the board of Trustee’s.
