Hosts are at the heart of the organisation... without hosts there would be no
Nightstop or Short Term Supported Lodgings service.
Gloucestershire Nightstop is always looking for help with hosting...
Gloucestershire Nightstop is keen to hear from anyone in any part of the county
who may have a spare room (even if only occasionally), some spare time and an interest
in young people’s issues. Hosting opportunities are open to every type of household
and can be undertaken in a voluntary (Nightstop) or paid (Short Term Lodgings) capacity.
In return Gloucestershire Nightstop offers training, support (day and night), the
opportunity to be part of a friendly and unique organisation and a worthwhile experience
where the results of your efforts will be clearly visible. In addition, we offer
comprehensive expenses ensuring volunteer hosts are not left out of pocket and a
generous payment package to ensure our lodgings hosts are rewarded for the extra
time and effort they will need to put in. Gloucestershire Nightstop takes every care
to protect both the hosts and the young people and has effective measures in place
to ensure that all risks are reduced to a minimum.
We also welcome enquiries from people who are keen to volunteer in other
capacities including driving, administration, help with publicity, fundraising
and becoming a Trustee.
